Finally, we would like to give you some recommendations for cycling on the island. In Lanzarote the climate is perfect for cycling the whole year round, and therefore ideal as a winter training camp. It is very probable that you won’t have to use your rainproof gear as Lanzarote enjoys one of the driest climates in Europe. Although it rarely gets very hot you should always take suncream, sunglasses and a hat. It is also recommendable that you take jerseys for the sometimes coolish north routes and the hours close to sunrise and sunset.
